Spyware Nuker - Full Review
Spyware Nuker is one of the more popular Spyware Removal programs available today - but does it live up to it's name?
My initial opinion is that this spyware remover is just that - it removes the spyware on your computer, and doesn't do much else. It is pretty limited as far as extra features go; but if you are looking for a good spyware remover; this program will do the job.
As far as features go, there are a couple of different scan modes. Quick scan allows you to scan your computer's most obvious spyware locations (cookies, program files, etc.). This will usually take care of 90% of the spyware on your computer, and will take less than 5 minutes. It is really great if you have alot of work to do, but don't want to take the time to do a full deep scan. Deep scan is the other scanning option provided by Spyware Nuker, and it is a full system scan that will take care of nearly all of your computer's infected files. The downside to this is that it will take a good 20 minutes depending on the speed of your computer - a small price to pay to get rid of the spyware on your computer.
How does Spyware Nuker compare with the other spyware programs we've reviewed here at SpywareVirusRemovers.com? Decently. We ran a deep scan on our test comptuer, and where NoAdware and XoftSpySE found 1,200 infected files; Spyware Nuker found 950. This is not a bad result, seeing as it still outperforms most programs on the market today. However, its lack of features beyond basic scan functions would prompt me to recommend a more complete software option such as NoAdware or XoftSpySE. On the other hand, Spyware Nuker is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, so if you are just looking for a simple program to fix your computer's spyware problems, then I would recommend giving Spyware Nuker a try.
